In 2025, the Alliance marked ten years of making trade simpler, faster, and more cost-effective. Our latest Annual Report charts that journey, and the results it has delivered.
Over the past decade, the Alliance has supported more than 40 countries, generated USD 273 million in savings for business, and delivered a 292% return on donor investment. But the impact runs deeper than the numbers.
This report illustrates how our projects strengthen the resilience and sustainability of global supply chains. Whether by digitalising trade procedures, improving customs operations, or streamlining border processes, the Alliance ultimately helps goods move faster and more predictably, supporting everything from agricultural exports to the delivery of essential medical supplies.
The report also examines how trade facilitation expands opportunity. By reducing administrative barriers and improving access to trade systems, Alliance interventions have enabled MSMEs and women-led businesses to participate more fully in international markets.
At the heart of this work is the Alliance’s public–private partnership model, which brings governments and businesses together to identify bottlenecks and co-create practical, grounded solutions. Ten years on, the model continues to deliver.
